Academy Tracks
All tracks are available to Backstage Fabrications Academy students. A student must select a primary focus. Transferring to a new focus is acceptable, but tier/title progress is not transferrable.


Develops visual storytelling through concept, research, and communication. Designers translate ideas into buildable and operable plans, guiding how space, light, sound, and texture shape the audience experience.




Brings designs into physical reality through hands-on construction and craftsmanship. Fabricators work with materials, tools, and processes to build scenic elements, props, and costumes with precision, safety, and intent.
Executes and operates the production in real time. Technicians run cues, manage backstage flow, and maintain the integrity of the show, ensuring design intent is delivered consistently in performance.
